Leineperi ironworks was founded 255 years ago in the village of Leineperi, Ulvila. The ironworks flourished in the 1860s, when it was one of the largest producers of wrought iron in Finland. Today, Leineperi ironworks is one of the best-preserved and most complete ironworks in Finland.
Leineperi is a unique tourist destination for everyone, full of artisan shops, exhibitions, museum sites, beautiful nature and historical treasures.
The Ironworks Weekend will introduce you to what the ironworks were like before and now through various guided tours and programs.
